This album was mostly recorded during my stay as caretaker on Quarantine Island in the Otago harbor New Zealand, during 2009 to 2011. The island was a quarantine station in the late 1800's, but is now a historic site and nature reserve. Apart from sqillions of birds and the wind, it is usually very quiet. A good place for recording.
